My name is Marleen de Kleijn and I have enjoyed working at Startpunt International since 2005.
The first years as deputy director and since 2011 as director of the school. Because I’ve been working here for a while, I’ve been able to put together a great team that I enjoy working with and I’m always looking for the best form of education.
For example, in 2009 we started the LeerKansenProfiel (LKP) where we offer an extra 6 hours of lessons per week, which has enabled us to broaden our range of lessons. Not only attention for language and math, but also for inquiry-based learning, technique, drama and dance.
For us, the step to IB World School was a logical continuation of the developments we were already working on. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved and wish every child such a beautiful education.
